I started taking photos at skating competitions soon after I started skating lessons, in early 2019. Since then I've photographed basic skills competitions, events in the US Figure Skating National Qualifying Series, and holiday shows. Being a skater myself, I'm able to anticipate skaters' movements, and since I'm active in my local figure skating club, I know how competitions work behind the scenes.
